MJM Acoustics offers a wide range of custom and standard sound solutions for the audio and visual professional.

Modular studios provide pre-determined performance

The modular sound room design is ideal as most studio space is leased and pre-existing, with no thought being given to acoustical performance. Rooms are pre-fabricated and installed on site, as your needs and specifications change over time the modular room can be relocated or added on to, making the rooms a valuable and long-lasting investment for your facility. We offer custom and standard configurations and maintain an ever-changing inventory of used and re-manufactured rooms as a cost-effective option. MJM Acoustics offers factory-approved relocation methods that ensure the room maintains its acoustical qualities after being relocated or re-configured.

Noise reduction characteristics vary with the type of panel design chosen. The panels are available in 2, 4 and 6″ thick sizes. Double-walled rooms are also an option when the environment or application requires a greater degree of sound reduction. Their steel construction offers a durable and robust design.

MJM offers numerous upgrades for your sound room

The Appearance Enhancement Package is a great way to restore older sound rooms or install as an option on a new sound room to provide users a more comfortable environment. Our list of accessories for these rooms includes LED lighting upgrades and furniture designed specifically with the sound room in mind. We also recommend a bi-annual maintenance program to ensure the room is operating in the best possible manner.

Functional Panels offer effective results

Functional panels are an option to improve a facilities acoustics without the expense of a modular sound room or when the space available will not allow the construction of a modular room. This ready-to-install acoustical treatment improves reverberation time (echo) by increasing sound absorption of existing structures. Modular panels are mounted on the upper part of walls and/or ceilings of the pre-existing space the perforated face and acoustical fill greatly increase sound absorption. This improves speech intelligibility and increases sound reduction.
