The modular acoustical enclosure is an ideal way to reduce
outside noise and thus create an acoustically controlled
environment.
Numerous applications and sound reduction qualities make
the modular sound room an economical and effective way to
meet you acoustical needs. Being modular the room can be
relocated or added on to as your needs change making them
a valuable and long lasting addition to your business.
MJM works closely with customers to ensure rooms are exactly
what is desired in both sound reducing qualities and configuration
ensuring a successful project every time. The following
is a brief outline of how the modular panel system works
to reduce sound.
A
steel frame provides solid support with noise abatement |
Constructed
out of a steel frame with a solid metal outer surface
and a perforated steel inner surface, the modular acoustical
panel is the best way to reduce outside sound in the
harshest noise environments.
The steel panel composition will vary depending on sound
reduction characteristics and attenuation qualities.
Panels are modular sections
providing optimum sound reduction
Panels may contain 4″ of fine fiber acoustical fill
for minimal sound reduction and up to 3″ of fiberfill,
1″ plaster board and a 16 ga thick floating inner steel
panel for optimum sound reduction. |

Double
walled rooms and 6″ thick panels are also available
to meet higher sound reduction requirements. Panels
are constructed in a modular order using floor channel,
wall joiners and roof caps to hold panels in place and
create modular room. |
